The home is 35 minutes from the Keahole-Kona airport with direct flights to Kona from San Francisco and Los Angeles or with many other flights per day via Honolulu Airport.  The world famous Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach resorts and four world-class golf courses are within 10 minutes drive of our Kohala Ranch home.  The home is situated on a bluff with an unobstructed view of the water, the coastline, Mauna Kea mountain and Maui.
There are 5 excellent restaurants within 10 minutes of the home. It is only 15 minutes from the quaint town of Hawi for provisions, local entertainment, and art galleries. Kawaihae Harbor, five minutes from the home, offers snorkeling, scuba diving, and fishing excursions. Horseback riding, helicopter tours of Volcano National Park & Waipio Valley, and Hawaiian cultural experiences are also nearby.
